🤝It is lovely community experience during the sharing time, meeting new friends AND authors!
📚 Bring your own good book you are reading to this warm, historical house. For the first part of the evening, read silently, sipping on warm drinks & nibbling on cookies, next to the fireplace, in a historical setting. Then share your book and thoughts with the group.
$15 cash/venmo at the door pays for the setting, discussion, warm drinks and home-baked goods. We are located on Main Street in Clarence Hollow.

How to cope with Stress, Anxiety and get Better Sleep? Enjoy an evening of self-care with educated and well respected practitioners in a workshop where you will:
- Learn which Herbal Teas can provide stress relief and promote restful, restorative sleep. Herbal education provided by Graciel Evenstar of "The Soul in Bloom: A Tea Apothecary"
-Practice Guided Mindful breathing techniques, and Relaxation Tools to compliment the healing properties of herbal teas. Lead by educator & yoga instructor @ Clarence's Satya Yoga Studio, Bettymarie Sullivan.
-$30 cash/venmo at the door, for education, advice from experts, Hot tea and home-baked goods will be served. Bags of prepared teas will be available for sale.

Wellness Community Circle ~ A Workshop

Join us for an evening of learning and connection. After an educational session on herbal and natural remedies for everyday wellness, we'll gather together to share thoughts, experiences, and ideas in a relaxed community conversation.
~The first part of the workshop will explore the use of herbs for overall wellness—supporting physical, emotional, and mental health through natural remedies. Graciel Evanstar of “The Soul in Blook~A Tea Apothecary” will share her vast knowledge of natural remedies as you drink her organic herbal teas from vintage china cup & nibble on scones.
~For the second half, participate in a casual community sharing circle. You are invited to bring along your “wellness secret” to share with the group. This might be a favorite mantra, supplement, daily routine, or simple practice that helps support a healthy and positive lifestyle. Leave with a plentitude of recommendations, new friendships, and inspiration from the collective wisdom of the group—an opportunity to connect, learn from one another, and build a circle of wellness together.

HISTORY BUFF RETREAT-Sleep & Tour Local Landmarks
April 24-26, 2026

This is for the HISTORY BUFFS out there. You'll get to spend 2 nights sleeping in our Historical Stonehouse that was built circa 1820. And during your days, you will be touring 3 historical landmark sites in the Clarence, Lancaster, and Akron area.
- April 24, Friday evening check-in & Sue will give you a tour and the the background of the Clarence Honeyhouse and it's historical significance. Have dinner at one of the locally owned restaurants that are within walking distance of the house. A few of them historically landmark structures. Dinner is on your own, however, Sue can help make recommendations and reservations
-Saturday, April 25, TOUR DAY! (1) Rich-Twinn Octagon House c. 1849, meticulously restored in Akron. (2) In Lancaster at the Warren Hull House c. 1810. Both include private time & behind the scene tours with the historians for these landmarks.
- Sunday morning, April 26 after you check out at 11 AM, walk across the street for private tour with the Clarence town historian at the Clarence Historical Museum, 1849, that houses Clarence artifacts and also a huge display about Wilson Greatbatch and his discovery of the pacemaker. Then walk a slight distance to the Clarence Town Park and tour the AAA Clubhouse, 1911.
**$650 is total cost and includes 2 nights at the house, sales tax, entrance fees or donations to the historical landmarks on the tours. Remember that participants have the entire Clarence Honeyhouse for the weekend, so enjoy the living room, keeping room and fireplace in the evenings. Split the total cost between 3 couples (there are 3 bedrooms) or amongst up to 8 friends (there are 5 beds). Food is not included in the price, but Sue will assist with recommendations and reservations.
